L'autre Montréal Collective (Collectif d'animation urbaine L'autre Montréal) provides guided thematic bus tours of Montreal. These unique presentations highlight the history of urban development, and the evolution of working and living conditions in Montreal. Tours focus on the origins of popular and working-class heritage, the contribution of social movements, and the preservation of urban environments. In order to expand the non-profit educational group's activities, L'autre Montréal has recruited and trained new animators. The Collective is creating an entirely new slate of touring and educational programs to serve both the general population and community groups concerned with urban and social issues.
